Google is all set for the official debut of the Pixel 8 lineup of smartphones. The lineup will see two devices being launched at the moment, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The brand might add the vanilla Pixel 8A to the series later on. Anyway, as the brand has already started teasing the devices on its social media handles, the excitement among the fans has been sparked. To add to this, the brand has released the official renders of the upcoming smartphone.
Just to remind you, the Pixel 8 series is scheduled to be released on October 4, 2023, which is still about a month away. However, Google has recently released some renders of the device online. While these aren't the most detailed images, they do give us a good idea of what the device will look like.
The Pixel 8 Pro will come in three colors: Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky, according to the now-deleted Pixel Simulator website for the device. The Pixel 8 Pro has a raised camera bar on the back that houses a triple camera unit, an LED flash, a microphone, and a body temperature sensor, as previously seen in leaked renders. It also has a flat display with a centered hole.
The gadget will offer triple rear cameras on the back. There would be a primary wide-angle lens, a secondary ultra-wide-angle lens, and a tertiary telephoto lens that is said to support up to 5X telephoto zoom. The phone's speaker, microphone, and USB-C port are all located on the bottom. It has a microphone and an additional speaker on the top. The phone has a SIM card slot on the left edge and NFC connectivity.
The rumored specifications of the Google Pixel 8 Pro are already making the rounds on the Internet. According to the reports, the gadget will feature a 6.7-inch OLED LTPO panel with QuadHD+ 1344*2992 pixel resolution and of course, the 120Hz high refresh rate support. It would be powered by the next-generation Tensor SoC and would most likely run the Android 14 operating system right out of the box.
