While OnePlus’ foldable devices were expected to be called “V Fold” and “V Flip”, it was recently revealed that it might be named as “OnePlus Open”. According to a recent tweet by Max Jambor, OnePlus Open, the foldable device from OnePlus is scheduled to be unveiled on August 29th.
OnePlus Open
The rrender images of OnePlus Open had already emerged prior to the Max’s announcement. Although the complete specifications are not yet available, it is expected to be a strong foldable device thanks to its new telephoto camera and overall stylish design.
OnePlus V Fold
If nothing goes wrong, OnePlus intends to host a launch event in New York on August 29th. It is likely that the new OnePlus foldable device will have simultaneous launch date in China and other global markets, and even if there is a slight discrepancy, there won’t be a huge difference between the Chinese and global launch date.
OnePlus Open is anticipated to feature a 48 MP primary camera, an ultrawide angle camera, and a 64 MP telephoto sensor, possibly manufactured by OmniVision. Additionally, it is rumored to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 4800 mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging.
