Tipster Fixed Focus Digital recently shared an imaginary render of the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro+, providing a glimpse into its design based on leaked information. The render suggests that the Vivo X100 Pro+ will feature a camera module positioned on the left side, surrounded by a rectangular matrix area. This design seems to be similar to the one seen in the vivo X80 series, indicating a continuation of the aesthetics rather than a significant departure from the Vivo X90 series.
According to another tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is expected to make its debut early next year. It can be speculated that the lower-end variants, namely the Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 standard versions, may be unveiled by the end of this year.
Reports indicate that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the X100 Pro+ is expected to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. This suggests that vivo believes the overall performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will surpass that of the Dimensity 9300. However, it is worth noting that Vivo and MediaTek are reportedly working together to optimize the Dimensity 9300 chipset to maximize its performance.
In terms of imaging capabilities, leaks suggest that the vivo X100 will sport a rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 main sensor, a 32-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, with dual optical image stabilization support.
Prior to the launch of the vivo X100 series, the final model of the vivo X90 series, the vivo X90s, will be released and will serve as the official device for the Hangzhou Asian Games.
