Xiaomi will launch the 13T series in Europe on September 26, and they will be the first in the family to get top-notch software support - 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patches. The series will consist of two models, the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro, which has also been officially confirmed.
Unofficially, the two phones are expected to launch with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 (this is the latest publicly available version of the Xiaomi skin).
We have already seen reports on the specs of the 13T series, which we will recap in a moment, but first feast your eyes on the latest leak - renders showing all the colorways for the new phones. There are leatherette options for both, the blue colorway in both cases.
No specs have been officially revealed yet, but based on the leaks, the 13T Pro is expected to be similar to the Redmi K60 Ultra (but not necessarily identical). That means a Dimensity 9200+ chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The regular 13T will instead get the Dimensity 8200-Ultra and a 5,000mAh battery with slower 67W charging.
The Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro will share many common specifications. Both phones will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2600 nits. The displays will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Furthermore, both phones will feature the same triple camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX707 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the phones will be equipped with a 20MP selfie camera. Additionally, these devices will come with optical image stabilization (OIS) and Leica filters.
The rumored camera specs are where the 13T Pro differs from the K60 Ultra. Both 13T phones will reportedly have a 50MP main camera (IMX707 sensor), a 50MP telephoto camera (50mm lens) and a 12MP ultra-wide (15mm), plus a 20MP selfie module. As you can see in the renders, these cameras have Leica branding and the camera app will come with the usual set of Leica features.
The Xiaomi 13T will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset, while the Xiaomi 13T Pro will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+. Both phones will come with a 5000mAh battery. The Xiaomi 13T will support 67W charging, while the Xiaomi 13T Pro will support 120W charging.
In terms of software, the phones will run on MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has also confirmed its commitment to provide 4 years of OS upgrades as well as 5 years of security patches for the Xiaomi 13T series phones. Other specifications include support for dual speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, dual-SIM capability, Type-C connectivity, dual-frequency GPS, an IR blaster, and an IP68 rating.
As for pricing, according to our sources, the Xiaomi 13T with 8GB+256GB of storage will be priced at EUR 699, while the Xiaomi 13T Pro with 12GB+512GB of storage will be available for EUR 899.
